Today, we spent the whole morning all together doing different things. We learnt about the importance of recycling and we had fun creating toys based on recycled material. After that, we had the chance to shot a lipdub around the hostel. We all (youngs and adults) danced, singed and had a lot of fun

Gaurkoan, goiz osoa eman dugu aterpetxean gauza desberdinak egiten. Hasteko, erziklapenaren garrantziaz aritu gara beranduago, material birziklatuekin artea sortzeko asmoaz. Ezin duzue imajina zelako gauza politak sortu dituzten. Horren ondoren, Lipdub bat filmatzeko aukera izan dugu aterpetxe osoan zehar. Denok (gazte eta nagusi) abestu, dantzatu eta oso ondo pasatu dugu! Emaitzak laister ikusgai!

El día de hoy, lo hemos pasado en el albergue, ya que el tiempo no ha acompañado mucho a salir. Para empezar, hemos hablado sobre la importancia de reciclar para después, y utilizando material reciclado crear, por grupos, diferentes obras de arte. Después de eso, hemos tenido oportunidad de rodar un lipdub por todo el albergue en el que, tanto mayores como pequeños hemos bailado, cantado y pasado en grande. Pronto podréis ver los resultados.

Toward the year 1,080, times of the Cid Campeador, two brothers were found here and a sister. They went for the edict of Mrs Magpie of Castile that was in war with the king of Aragon.
María Perez, like the sister was called, he was impelled in continuing his brothers to the fight, so he dressed the armor and he responded next to them to defend his banner.
After the fight certain dispersion between the troops was produced and María, sóla, in the half-light in the afternoon, came upon another confused: Alfonso the Fighter. 

María carried the covered face with the ambush, as the heraldic statue shows him then that still can be observed in his possession of Villanañe, and thus fought against the aragonese one, leaving the sword, despite which, was so large its value, that conquered its opponent and did prisoner.

It admired, the king, he told him: "You have done, not as weak woman, but like hardly male and should call you Varona, vos and yours descending and in memory of this feat will use the weapons of Aragon

 Even we had not the best day to go to Salinas, all the kids wanted to go out from the hostel, so we took the morning to have a visit there. We had the opportunity to taste the different types of salt that they produce, to know how do the get the salt from the water and many other interesting facts from Salinas.
After the visit, we all had to change the wet clothes because we made the whole visit raining!

Egunik hoberena ez badugu izan ere, denok nahi genuen aterpetxetik irten. Horrexegatik, goiza Añanako Gesaltzan eman dugu bisitan. Han, bertan egiten diren gatz mota desberdinak dastatzeko aukera izan dugu, eta horretaz aparte, bertako beste gauza interesgarri batzuk ere ikasi ditugu.
Bisitaren ostean, denok logeletatik pasatu behar izan dugu blai eginda zeuden arropak aldatzeko.
Baina egon zaitezte lasai, zuen seme-alabek ez baitute katarrorik hartu eta denak oso ondo eta pozik daude!

A pesar de que no hayamos tenido el mejor tiempo, todos teníamos ganas de salir del albergue. Por eso, hemos pasado la mañana visitando el valle salado de Añana. Una vez allí, hemos tenido oportunidad de probar los diferentes tipos de sal que producen, así como conocer otras interesantes historias sobre la zona.
Después de la visita, todos hemos tenido que pasar por las habitaciones a cambiarnos la ropa que traíamos empapada.
Pero no os preocupeis, que vuestros hijos e hijas no han cogido ningún catarro y todos estan muy bien y muy contentos!!!!

Finally the rain has stopped!! after 2 days of rain everytime, we finally had the chance of playing outside and run. This morning, we started the day talking about the benefits and reasons for recycling and after that we had the opportunity to create our own 'Recycled Arts', obviously based on recycled material.
After that, we filmed a lipdub, that you'll be able to watch soon!!! We had a really good time!

Azkenean euria egiteari utzi dio!! Bi egun generamatzan patiora irten ezinik euria zela eta, eta gaurkoan kanpoan jolasteko aukera izan dugu. Bazen garaia! Goizean, birziklapenari buruz hitz egiten ibili gara, honen zergatiak eta onurak aztertzen, eta geroxeago aukera izan dugu, material birziklatua erabiliz noski, gure artelanak sortzeko.

Honen ostean, Lipdub bat grabatzeko aukera izan dugu. Denek gogotsu parte hartu dute eta grabaketa polit bat geratu zaigu. Zeuen seme-alabak etxera heltzen direnean aukera izango duzue sortu ditugun Lipdub, pelikulak, etab. ikusteko!

Time for theatre!!!!
The weather was not good enough to go for a walk this morning, so we spent the morning doing theatre! And we had lot of fun!!

Welcome to Salinas de Añana!

The salt valley in the Alavese locality of Añana is currently one of the most spectacular and best preserved cultural landscapes in Europe. Its value lies not only in its unique architecture or in its more than 1,200 years of documented of history, not even in its geological characteristics, its biodiversity or in its prized landscapes, but in the union in perfect harmony of all this in a privileged context.

In the oldest town in Alava, and in what were waters of a vast sea 200 million years ago, stands the Salt Valley of Salinas de Añana. A magnificent outdoor cultural landscape (monument) formed over more than 5,000 eras:. platforms on which the brine, saltwater, is poured to obtain salt through solar evaporation. A unique and extensive network of wooden channels distribute the water to the most remote corners of the

El Valle salado representa uno de los mas espectaculares y mejor conservados parajes de Europa. Su valor se basa no solo en su arquitectura única o en su historia de mas de 1200 años, ni en sus caracteristicas geologicas o su biodiversidad. Su valor se basa en la union en perfecta armonía de todo lo anterior junto con un contexto privilegiado.

Si miramos hacia atrás, hace 200 millones de años esta zona estaba cubierta de mar. Al desaparecer el mar e ir depositandose capas de sedimentos sobre esta zona, la sal quedó retenida. Hoy en día, la producción de sal de Salinas de Añana sigue porque todavia queda una enorme cantidad de sal bajo tierra. Los rios subterraneos hacen que esta sal pueda llegar a la superficie por medio de manantiales de agua salada.

Thursday! Excursion to Salinas de Añana!!!
There, we had the opportunity to learn how the salt is extracted from the water, apart from many other different facts of the Salty valley. Did you know that long time ago all the valley was a sea? And did you know that nowadays, there are some natural springs from where the salty water come out to the surface? Then, they just have to wait until the water evaporates and......get the salt!

Han, gauza asko ikasteko aukera izan dugu. Ba zenekiten beste garai batean bailara osoa itsasoa zela? Eta ba al dakizue gaur egun, ur azpitik datozen iturri desberdinak daudela ur gaziarekin? Añanako gesaltzan egin behar duten gauza bakarra gatza uratik banatzea da, eguzkiaren laguntzarekin, noski! Hori gertatutakoan, gatza lortzen da!

Jueves! Excursión a Salinas de Añana!!!


Allí, hemos tenido oportunidad de aprender sobre diferentes cosas. Por ejemplo, ¿sabíais que hace muchísimos años todo el valle era mar?, y ¿sabíais que hoy en día este valle tiene diferentes manantiales de agua salada, y lo que se hace en salinas es separar la sal del agua? Con ayuda del sol, y de mucho trabajo consiguen separar la sal del agua para obtener así una de las mejores sales del mundo: la sal de Salinas de Añana!

The weather was brilliant today, but we didn´t do any outing or excursion. Today, we learnt about the importance of recycling in a workshop based on creating a recycled art. Later on, we shot a lipdub all aorund the hostel and they had a really fun time. We are very happy with this motivated and nice group.

Eguraldia ezinhobea izan dugu gaur, baina ez zitzaigun ezta irteerarik ezta txangorik tokatzen. Horren ordez, birziklapenari buruzko tailer bat egin dugu, non aukera izan dugun 'Recycled art' bat sortzeko. Horren ostean, lipdub bat grabatu dugu aterpetxetik zehar 'We will rock you' kantaren erritmoan. Denak bikain pasatu dugu, irakasleok barne. Oso pozik gaude zuekin, Lautada Ikastolako gazteak!

Ho hemos tenido un día perfecto, y aunque no nos tocase ninguna excursión lo hemos aprovechado mucho. Hemos podido aprender sobre la importancia del reciclaje y utilizando material reciclado crear obras de arte, que han quedado muy bonitas. Aparte de eso, hemos podido crear y grabar un lipdub, en el que hemos bailado todos al ritmo de 'We will rock you'. Todos nos lo hemos pasado muy bien, profesores incluidos. Estamos muy contentos con vosotros, Lautada ikastola!!!!

The weather was not that bad this morning, so we followed the planning and went to Varona´s Castle. After telling (and performing) the story of this strange surname we went for a walk through Villanañe, where we had a rest, and then we reached the Castle. It´s been a long and tiring morning, but I´m sure that the teachers will thank us for making their job easier at night.

Eguraldia ez zegoen hain txarto gaur goizean, beraz, geure planei jarraituz, Varonatarren dorretxera hurbildu gara. Abizen honen historia kontatu (ta antzeztu) ondoren, ibiltzeari ekin diogu eta hara bidean, Villanañetik pasatu gara. Goiz luzea eta neketsua izan da gaurkoa, baina seguro irakasleek eskertuko dutela umeak gauean lasai-lasai lo geratzen direnean nekearen ondorioz.

El tiempo nos ha dado tregua en el dia de hoy, así que siguiendo con nuestros planes hemos visitado la Torre de los Varona. Tras contarles (y actuar) la historia de este curioso apellido, nos hemos acercado al pueblo de Villanañe, y tras hacer un breve descanso hemos seguido con nuestro camino hacia la Torre. Ha sido una mañana larga y nos hemos cansado, pero seguro que las profesoras nos lo agradecen cuando los chavales se queden dormidos sin dar guerra nada mas llegar a la cama.
